Great victory as the Cardinals beat the Mets, 12-5.
The Mets would get on the scoreboard first as the Cardinals were waking up from a long week off from practice. Bottom of the first inning started the Cardinals rally as the crowd would get the team pumped and ready. Batter-UP, Darion would start up the hitting parade for the Cardinals and score. After a few hits and scores Cardinals and Mets were tied 3-3 going into the second inning. Cardinals would begin to play defense and make a few plays at first. The amazing Cardinal fans played an important role as they cheered for the team and kept them focus.
The Hiting and scoring continued from the Cardinals. Some of the amazing hits that stood out, where a hit from Ruben. Nick-Ryan after getting good hits (on previous games) but gets beat on running, finally beat a throw to first. Nick-Ryan would finally do his first base dance (cheer). Ruben & Nick would finally get an opportunity to run the bases and they did.
Overall Cardinals played a well balance game in defense and offense.
Go Cardinals ..
